Target Agreeements of the Faculty of Engeneering
The third target agreement round 2018-2022 to increase the proportion of women in academia was signed on 08 November 2017 by the President of FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Joachim Hornegger, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Reinhard Lerch.
The measures set out in the target agreements (in German only) should contribute to increase
- the percentage of female students from 22 % (06/2016) to 27% (2022)
- the percentage of female academic staff holding a PhD from 22 % (06/2016) to 27% (2022)
- permanent mid-level faculty positions (salary group A13) from 19 % (11/2015) to 22% (2022)
- the share of female professors in the faculty from 6,1 % (06/2016) to 10 % (2022)
