Target Agreeements of the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law
The third target agreement round 2018-2022 to increase the proportion of women in academia was signed on 08 November 2017 by the President of FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Joachim Hornegger, and the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Law, Prof. Dr. Hans Kudlich.
The measures set out in the target agreements (in German only) should contribute to increase
- the percentage of women who completed a PhD from 34% (average 2013-2015) to 40% (2022)
- the percentage of women who completed a habilitation from 0% (average 2013-2015) to 30% (2022)
- the percentage of women holding a permanent official post (mid-level academic position) (salary group A 13-A 15) from 25% (2016) to 33% (2022)
- the percentage of women at the level of W2/W3-professorships at the faculty from 0% (01.04.2016) to 33% (2022)
- the percentage of women at the level of W2/W3-professorships at the department of Law from 0% (01.04.2016) to 10% (2022)
- the percentage of women at the level of W2/W3-professorships at the department of economics from 24% (01.04.2016) to 30% (2022)
- to stabilize the percentage of women at the level of junior professorships at the department of economics from 50% (01.04.2016) to 50% (2022)
